In February 2008 one of our colleagues welcomed Twix into her home.

This young dog soon finished the final phase of her training with ‘Hearing Dogs For Deaf People’ and now works confidently every day, supporting her owner.

Twix understands that when she is wearing the coat she is working. Her special training allows her to alert her owner to sounds hearing people take for granted, so providing greater independence, confidence and security.  

As a valuable member of our team Twix can be found supporting our colleague in schools and colleges throughout the Four Authorities.
