SEN Governors
Many Governors expressed an interest in understanding the needs of deaf children
in mainstream and special schools.
In response to this we ran a training evening on Tuesday 5th May 2009 at our offices
just off Greystoke Avenue, Westbury on Trym
The aim was to inform about the needs of the deaf children in their schools and give
information on planning for the future in terms of Access Plans and Environmental
Audits.
There was an opportunity to ask questions and we ensured they left the session knowing
how to contact the Teacher of the Deaf who supports each of their schools.
